We have been a bit behind on giving you guys news to chew on, pass on as rumors, etc.  Our slack hasn’t been from lack of news to be sure, but more from a lack of having enough hands to get it all done.  But here it is.  Eat it up.  And hopefully, Tuesday, News Day will be back in its regular rotation soon.

Chris Unck and the Black Roses show dates start soon.  The band rolls out of Atlanta tomorrow bound for a lovelier land.  PA, CT, NYC, be on the lookout.  Dates are listed on the calendar page or over at their Myspace page.   These shows should be unreal, so don’t miss it.  We wish we were going!!

Night Driving is working diligently on their new record and we are so stoked out releasing it.  This will definitely be their best work so far.  We are sure of it.  If you want to get a taste of what they have been working on, come out to one of their many shows coming up.  This Saturday, Nov. 21, they will be doing a little intimate gig at Kavarna in Decatur.  Those shows are always a treat.  On Nov. 28, they will be over at Smith’s Olde Bar in the Atlanta Room with good friend Jeremy Ezell.  This will surely be a  nice break from the turkey extravaganzas that you all will be having.  And December 8 at the Earl they will be playing with the Preakness and Land of Talk.  You have several opportunities to get out there and listen to a new jam or 10 from the band.

Let the Lead Fly has been out for a minute now and you guys are loving it.  The Mules are very proud of the album and we are as well.   We will be posting the AmericanaRoots.com podcast this week for you guys to devour.  Interviews with Andy are always entertaining.  Stay tuned for that!  And if you haven’t snagged Let the Lead Fly, you better!
