Once a little girl had a dream. To be a princess? No. To go to the moon? Well, for a few years it was all about outer space. To be the first female president? Of course she had that dream!!! But more than any other dream, she longed to put out records of the bands that she loved.  Little did she know that by the time the dream became a reality, the music business as everyone had previously known it, would no longer exist. Instead, the door would be wide open to anyone willing to take some chances. If you were okay with an uncertain future business model, then now was the time. Enter Lower 40 Records, the brainchild of a band with a record and a that girl with a dream. What started in last few days of 2006 with one roots rock in the land of garage rock and hip-hop known as Atlanta, has grown into a home for a group of bands that may not be in one particular genre, but all have a common thread.  Their sound is drenched in what American music is all about and they are bad ass.  Stay tuned to see what 2010 brings.
